Dearest Mrs Wills (Nana Wills) and Peter, I'm so sorry to hear about Jim's (aka Popcorn's) passing. I'll never forget his kindness, his laugh, his love of the land and the creatures on it. I had some beautiful adventures on the farm, riding on the four wheeler, patting the dogs (even the less friendly ones - I remember Jim hovering to make sure I didnt get bitten by Sam!). I remember Jim rescuing Lucky the tiniest rabbit from Tiger, and letting me try to keep it alive, with the milk dropper - (something this petless city girl had never done before). I remember him taking Sparky-Joe out on the farm to "work", long after the sweet dog's eyes had failed him - just letting Sparky-Joe ride behind him on the motorbike. Thank you, Jim (Popcorn) for the picnic in the natural bush and the loveliest memories that will last a lifetime. All my love, Sarah-Rose.

Dear Jill and Peter,
Marie and I were very sorry to read of Jim's passing. I have great memories of the countless times that we enjoyed playing golf together and particularly those early Sunday mornings when Jim's dad Roy would join us and the enjoyable chats that we would have after the golf. I especially remember on Sunday morning when we all p[ayed our second shots to the 10th green. It was misty and so we had no idea where our balls had finished until we approached the green, Roy and I could see our balls but we couldn't find Jim's until Roy looked in the hole and there was Jim's ball embedded in the soil in the back of the cup giving Jim an Eagle. Lots of laughs and high fives... A special shot from a special man.
RIP JIm
