CONNELL, Janet Taylor:
31.07.1940 - 22.09.2022
Passed away peacefully at her home in Eltham after a short illness on the evening of 22 September 2022 with her loving companion and partner Jules Berghuis at her side. Wife of the late Jim Connell. Much loved Mother, Mother-in-law, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother of James (Jamie) and Yvette; Robert (Robbie) (deceased); Marion and Chris; Chrystel, Kyle and Esson; Peter; Zane and Rhya; Graeme (Jock) (deceased); Ashley and Korey, Lucas-James and Karter-Wolfe; Aimee, Lacey and Kora; Melanie, Marcus and Maeve.
A tireless worker and patient sufferer at rest.
Gone to join her boys
with our blessing.


In accordance with family wishes a private cremation has been held. The family wish to advise that a Memorial Service honouring Janet's life will be held on Saturday 15th October, in the South Taranaki Funeral Services Chapel, 268 High Street, Hawera, at 1.00pm. Janet has asked that everyone wear a bit of tartan. All cards and correspondence addressed to the family of Janet Connell, C/- Marion Hartwell, 120A Heatherlea West Road, RD5, Levin 5575.

I am so sorry for the family´s loss, I have very fond memories of Granny who I lived next door to in Eltham, she became like a grandma to my daughter Hannah, Hannah went there everyday after school until I got home from work. Such a beautiful lady she will never be forgotten
