Hayley, my sincerest sympathies go out to you and your boys at this sad time. Been seven years since I left Fonterra but I can still picture Jay's cheeky smile and hear that unique laugh. He was also one of those people who just had a presence that made others feel comfortable around him. I can remember the day he was picking up milk when he was first on the scene of a car vs train accident. We tried and tried to get hold of him on the radio with no success. After about half an hour a strange voice came over the RT and told us Jay had gone in the ambulance to the hospital with two kids who were involved in the accident. They were quite upset and only calmed down when Jay agreed to accompany them.
Jay, rest in peace mate.
