Sincere condolences to the Gaustad family. Jean was one of the first people I met in the St Andrews church family when I joined in the early 2000s. She became a special friend and we shared the same pew for many years. After she moved to Calvert Rd I would always pop in early in the morning after my climb up the Calvert road steps. She was always up and about and on the go often having been to the beach for her "swim". Blessings to all the family.

It has been a privilege to have had Jean as a neighbour and we often met her on the road either driving a mob of sheep or driving the school bus and knowing the children were in safe hands.
She never failed to give a cheery greeting or a wave.
Our thoughts and sympathy are with all her family
Peter and Lynn Miller and family.

To Clive, Glenda, Marlene and families,
Thinking of you all at this sad time and remembering Jean and the many fun times we have had since first meeting in 1959 at Rangers hockey team practice. Jean loved the outdoors, the animals and the farming life and was very proud of her family and their achievements. Always cheerful, very caring and happy to help anyone in need, a true Samaritan, Jean will be missed by us all.
"Those we love, don't walk away
They walk beside us everyday
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved,still missed,still very dear."
