Jean MOFFAT Obituary

Peacefully in New Plymouth on 28 January 2026, aged 89. Much loved wife of the late Bob. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Jo & Malc, John & Julie, Rob, and Andrew & Penelope. Grandma and Nan to George, Jack, Matthew, Jake, Sam, Bili, Arapaoa, Irihapeti, Kahurangi, Tessa, Lottie, Henry, and George. Great-grandmother of Florence, Rupert, Mac and Elle.

I have happy memories of the morning chats with Jean and Wags during my morning walks at the end of our street.

My condolences to dear Jeans family she will be missed by so many. I will miss her at WI meetings, playing Whist, and our phone calls, and visits. She has been a great lady playing tennis and selling those lovely apples our children just loved, these are now our memories, Rest in peace with Bob and Jo, Jean. Val

While had only spent a few times with Jean , I felt I knew her from the memories and stories her grandchildren shared with me over the past 12yrs. She will be missed.
