Ten years have passed. It seems like days sometimes. Always remembering the good times and the team we formed after dad died. At times things seem so empty now; a void that can never be filled. ...Paul

Golden Memories

Dear Jean, we knew each other only through our letters and phone calls because our late husbands were best pals as lads at Fairey Aviation.
The war over, Bill met and married you; New Zealand beckoned, but the friendship between our husbands never flagged and we, their wives, took up our pens and wrote to each other too, for over fifty years.
In recent times we used the telephone as well; I will miss the sound of your beautiful Scots voice but the golden memories will last as long as I live.
