My immense condolences go out to the McEwen family. As a young boy, I spent many weekends with Craig riding bikes, fishing in the river or swimming in the pool. Jeanette was my second Mum (with the bonus of being younger than my own mother - which I relished at the time). We would help with the Cattery, and play with Tara the Staffordshire Terrier. I have fond memories of sleeping beneath a thick fluffy duck-down duvet (something foreign to my upbringing) with Jeanette coming into the bedroom repeatedly to tell us to stop talking and go to sleep! The little Blue car which stank of spilt milk. These were the days of innocence and play and Jeanette was always there with dinner waiting or a bandaid for a grazed knee.
