We shook hands shared laughs and for the next 30 odd years through catching up we shook hands and shared laughs..and when we catchup next time I look forward to shaking your hand and sharing laughs..born/bred/taught the same, your reflection aided by memories equals only treasured gain. Fond memories of Merv bring the boys around to play with our boys . One particular time was when Michelle was going into hospital and we were going to be looking after Dwayne. Jeremy was to be staying else where. When Merv was ready to go Jeremy was no where to be found, after a while looking for him we found him hiding under the bed as he wanted to stay also. RIP Jeremy and have a drink with Merv for Sparky.

Dear Jeremy, Thanks for being such a great cousin, you were an awesome guy to grow up with. I have many great memories of the time you spent at our house growing up and the mischief we all got up to. The good times at Nana and Pop's, I will treasure those forever. I'm sure Uncle Merv, Mum and Pop were waiting for you with open arms. I bumped into a guy at a party a couple of years back and for some reason he looked strangely familiar. Anyhow I get talking to this young fella and he introduced himself as Jeremy Grainger. Well I hadn't seen him since he was a nipper and I dragged my chair to his table and proceeded to tell stories of his dad, my old mate Merv, and of course his grandad Ike, uncle John and a bit of family history (sorry if I got anyone in the crap, haha) Anyhow, I now read this notice and I just can't believe what I'm seeing. Sincere condolences to the whole family, I know you must all be hurting at this sad time. Kia kaha
