Joan HURLEY Obituary

Of Carterton. On 4th February 2026 peacefully at Carter Court in the presence of family. Aged 90 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Laurie (they were married for 63 years). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Vincent and Carol (Mangawhai), Stephen and Catherine (Carterton), David and Sue (Perth), Karen and Dennis Casey (Christchurch), Mark and Gwen (Temuka), Leanne and Andy Griffith (Lake
Ferry), Joanne and Greg Nyssen (Hawera). Loved Nana of all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A special thanks to Dr Tirkey, all at Carter Court, Leigh Jones and all the caregivers who cared for our Mum over the years. In lieu of flowers a donation to 'The Carter Court Trust' would be appreciated. In accordance with Joan's wishes a private family service has been held.
