Sincere condolences to Joan's family. Joan was very involved with the Alton Community and was a great friend of both Hilda and Neil Sutherland. Memories come to mind of Women's Division activities and those of the Craft Group that Joan was a member of.

To the Jenkins family, May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Joan was in Alton Woman's Division with our Mother Ruth Julian and some of our family went to Alton School with the family. In later years my Husband worked with Rodney and Kevin at Fonterra . Thinking of you all. From Maureen and John Simmons (nee Julian)

Sorry to hear of Aunty Joan's passing, she was always Aunty Joan to us as kids growing up.
Our many Friday fish & chip nights we shared at Alton when Uncle Barry was factory manager.
My mum & dad were very good friends of them both.
You are now reunited with Barry & Rodney probably sharing many great stories and laughs.
