Passed away peacefully on the 23rd of January 2026, at Hawera, aged 84 years. Dearly loved wife of Noel. Previously Joan Bouzaid. Dearly loved Mother and mother-in-law of John & Yvonne. Stepmother of Keven, Gary, and Julie. A cherished nana to all our combined families
A service to celebrate Joan's life will be held in St Mary's Anglican Church, 206 Princes St, Hawera, on Thursday 29th January at 1.00pm followed by Interment in the Kaupuatama Cemetery, State Highway 43, Stratford. All communications addressed to the Family of Joan Saywell C/- PO Box 183, Hawera 4610.

Dear Noel, John ,Yvonne and family, so sad to hear of my Aunt Joan´s passing. I´m very grateful that we could share our love for each other by phone when in intensive care and by our many emails. I loved her very much and she was a great support to me. Noel, sending you a hug right now.
