John BIRCHLER Obituary
Passed away peacefully on his birthday, having reached the milestone of 100 years of age. Devoted husband of the late Sylvia. Loving father of Mary, late Owen, Malcolm, and Neil. Cherished grandad of Tracey and Vicky and Bianca. A treasured brother, uncle and friend. A Service to celebrate John will be held in the South Taranaki Funeral Services Chapel, 268 High Street, Hawera, on Saturday 21st March 2026 at 11.00am, followed by interment in the Eltham Cemetery. Warm memories of years past for me as I learn of David's passing. Owen and I worked together back inte 70s- David was so supportive of him. usually 'the man on the door' at the Eltham Presbyterian church at most services, Owen would describe him as 'the head gardener of Eltham'.. Rest in peace David- my condolences to you all.

Remember David around Eltham in the late 50's & early 60's a true Christian man and a faithful warrior for his Lord.He truly lived to a great age even so it's always sadness in losing a loved one.My deepest sympathy to the family in their loss.
