Sincerest sympathies to John's Family, but as you maybe aware the memories shall last for ever and the loss more bearable. John was well known for his humor and pleasant smile, whenever he greeted one. I have known John all my life having met at school sports and occasionally at various farming demos etc.

As kids at Kapuni we spent a lot of time next door, always welcomed with a big smile from Mr Bishop. Glen remembers MrB taking him to speedway in Big Bird. Stay strong. His commitment as a committee member for over 50 years, meticulously mowing our extensive grounds for many years, participating in the Singing Group (as a hummer!) and his absolute devotion to our club were outstanding! Club members please wear your costumes for a guard of honour.
