(John Boy):
Suddenly on 12th June 2023 at Sunhaven Rest Home, Bell Block. Aged 87. Dearly loved brother of Pauline, Cynthia, Jo and Billy (all late). Son of the late Tui & Joyce Curd. Loved husband to Yvonne for 63 years. Father and father-in-law to Joanne & Bruce Riddick, Kevin & Patricia Curd, Deborah & Scott Henderson, Tracey & Wayne Gill. Grandfather to Brendan & Amber Riddick, Kylie Riddick & Patrick, Kara & Andrew Brown, Bradley Gill, Hamish Hemi-Curd. Great-Grandfather to Cohen, Mikayla & Azaria Riddick, Bentley & Lincoln Brown. Daddy John to Marc Ladbrook. A private Cremation has been held. Messages can be sent to [email protected]

My deep and sincere sympathy to Yvonne and family. John worked at the Maypole Store in Inglewood along side Trevor Blackbourn and my nephew Peter Smith and I remember what a fun trio they were. John was also a talented member of the Inglewood Dramatic Society - now Cue Theatre - a remarkable Father Christmas in the town for many, many years and captured a very different audience when playing The Last Post. He was lost to all who knew him far too soon and I feel incredibly sad for Yvonne and family. My deep and sincere sympathy to you all.
