Dear Kathy and family, My sincere condolences to each of you. I met John in the late 70's we did a careers evening at Okato College. Your husband, father and grandfather is a man I have always had deep respect for. On social occasions he always made a point of having a quiet chat with each person attending. A special man gone to God.

I remember John as a generous, wise and patient man who always had time to collaborate over the care and rehab of our patients. He contributed so much during his long career working with people with neurological conditions such as head injuries and so on. He was an expert that I looked up to.
