Dear Denise,
So sorry to hear the news of John´s passing.
I fondly remember the laughs we used to share at the Fire Brigade Canteen in the 80´s and 90´s.
He was so kind to me when Wally passed and I have never forgotten that.
If I was in the country I would have definitely been there to show my respect to him.
Love Lois

To Denice and Family, I would describe John as a constant in our lives. He was constantly happy, constantly cheerful, constantly kind and constantly looking for mischief. He was a pleasure to be with and someone who we were proud to call our friend. Unfortunately we are away and won´t be able to be with you to celebrate John´s life with you tomorrow. Our thoughts will be with you all the same.

Denise and family, so sorry to hear of John's passing. My condolences to you all at this sad time. I've known John since '76 when when I met ex-husband, Wayne Hale, when they were in the Fire Service together
He was always such a happy, bubbly, lovely person to be around. Always smiling that infectious smile he had and never a negative thing to say about anyone. He will be sadly missed. RIP John. Sheryl Hedley.

Saddened to read, about John. We have memories of his long chats and sage advise with Nettie as she transitioned from teen to adult.
One of life's good blokes gone too soon.
Remembered and appreciated.

Oh John, I was utterly heartbroken when Dad told me you´d passed. Always such a pleasure seeing you around town and when I worked at the supermarket. Our little chats made my day. Thinking of your family during this time. Time to go have a beer and a catch up with the firies have gone before you. Rest in Peace John, you´ll never be forgotten
