Denise and family, so sorry to hear of John's passing. My condolences to you all at this sad time. I've known John since '76 when when I met ex-husband, Wayne Hale, when they were in the Fire Service together
He was always such a happy, bubbly, lovely person to be around. Always smiling that infectious smile he had and never a negative thing to say about anyone. He will be sadly missed. RIP John. Sheryl Hedley.

It was a shock to receive that phone call on Monday to advise me of the sudden passing of our friend and snooker pal. John and I, along with 10 others, started our fire fighting careers on 6th March 1972. Been a long time friendship suddenly ended. Condolences Denise to you and Johns family. God bless.

Saddened to read, about John. We have memories of his long chats and sage advise with Nettie as she transitioned from teen to adult.
One of life's good blokes gone too soon.
Remembered and appreciated.

Oh John, I was utterly heartbroken when Dad told me you´d passed. Always such a pleasure seeing you around town and when I worked at the supermarket. Our little chats made my day. Thinking of your family during this time. Time to go have a beer and a catch up with the firies have gone before you. Rest in Peace John, you´ll never be forgotten
