My deepest sympathies to Sue and family. I have known John for a number of years now, through our association at Tukapa Rugby Club. John was an upfront man who told it how it was, straight to the point, no messing about. He was pretty well right most of the time. I will miss our after game chats over a beer or two.

Rest in peace John, until we meet again.
