John RYAN Obituary
Peacefully in New Plymouth on Sunday, 26 October 2025, aged 91. Cherished husband of Nola (deceased). Dearly loved Dad and friend of Anne, and Jill and Rob. Adored Grandad of Eshai, Ezra, Itshak, Avraham, Sara, and Michal; Indigo, and Harley. Wonderful brother and brother-in-law of Jean and Graeme Haggerty, Allan (deceased) and Margaret. Loved Uncle John of all his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the management and staff of Summerset Pohutukawa Place for their wonderful care and kindness. Messages to the Ryan family may be left on John's tribute page at eagars.co.nz/john. A service to celebrate John's life will be held at Eagars Te Henui Chapel, 46 Watson Street, New Plymouth, on Friday, 31 October 2025 at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation. John's service will be live streamed to his tribute page.

As a great friend of Anne´s late teenage years in the early days we used to love going up to the farm on Egmont road. Always had a good laugh with `Nols´, teased lil sis Jill, and John never knew quite what to make of us unruly blokes- Fond memories, condolences to the girls and family.

John and I go back 64 years when we met in the New Plymouth St John Ambulance Division. We played cricket together and met many times on the bowling green I'm going to miss you John. RiP.Condolences to the family.
