Jono SNOWDEN Obituary

Jono was one of a kind, and he left a big impression on me in the time I worked with him. Both in and out of work, he had the most infectious attitude, spirit and personality, which rubbed off on everyone around him. It might sound silly but the way he approached everything in his path changed my perspective on life.

He had an unmatched zest for life and was hands down the most upbeat (and most popular!) person I've ever met. I'm so grateful to have worked with him and to be able to say I was part of his team. He will be sorely missed by us all and my thoughts are with Jono's family and friends.

There are no words. Jono you had an infectious personality and truly brought energy and passion to everything you did. I was fortunate to work with you, learn from you, hear your stories and watch you genuinely make a difference at Lloyds. From your war rooms to periscopes, you were always challenging everyone around you to do more and push the boundaries. I'll never forget that. Sincere condolences to your fiancé, family and friends.

Incredibly sad to hear that Jono is no longer with us. A great guy who lived his life to the full and always made me laugh. It was a genuine pleasure knowing Jono - the nicknames that kept coming the fairly terrible jokes, his cheeky grin and sense of humour stand out. These were coupled with a drive and determination to make a difference by doing, and for Jono this meant making a difference inside and outside of work.

A true legend gone earlier than is right. Whether it was burgers after end of month drinks or craft beers and late nights in east London. Jono oozed positivity and fun in everything he did. I am so sad to hear that Jono is no longer with us. It is incomprehensible because he was such a vibrant, high energy and fun person. I worked with Jono in Lloyds marketing department a few years back and he was one of the really good guys - fun, passionate, friendly, inclusive - always ready for a chat, to help, to support, to contribute. A fantastic man in every way and everyone who knew him here would without exception say the same. Will be very missed at Lloyds as well as with his many friends and family.

So sad and sorry to have heard the news. I'll always remember our times in the Lloyds Wealth team and at the Water Poet. A tenacious and talented guy with bags of enthusiasm and always a friendly word. RIP Jono x

I've so many great memories of the whirlwind that was Jono.

From making the team trek across London to go to the latest 'hip' craft beer pub, to dancing with drag queens dressed up as cats in Berlin, and watching everyone look at him in awe as he came up with amazing social media plans for projects...he was just the best fun and a lovely friend.

On team nights out, I've been known to make everyone stay out for as long as possible. It always amused me that Jono would wait until I went to the bathroom so he could make his escape. Sneaky skills indeed!

That boy packed so much into his too short life, and one thing he's taught me is to live every moment.

He talked with such pride and love about Katie and his family often. I hope you all take comfort that he made a huge impact to those around him.

Heartbreaking news. My heartfelt thoughts go out to Jono's family and friends.

Jono loved to give people nicknames - much to the annoyance of a colleague of mine (which I always found hysterical). He was always up to something and loved a bit of banter!

Around this time last year I saw Jono and couldn't believe how open he was about everything. He met his illness head on and just got on with things. He was arranging charity darts and all sorts. And we chatted over a pale ale like nothing was up. He was so brave and I thought to myself - I hope that's the way I'd respond if I was ever ill.

Jono was, and always will be an absolute legend (a total ledge as he would say). He set a great example of loving life and living it to the absolute fullest with an unrivalled sense of adventure and I think most of us could benefit from taking a leaf out of his book in that respect.
