My condolences to all Joe´s family. My memories of Joe started when he played the organ and piano for St Philomena´s Parish on Brooklands Road. He was very dedicated and very reliable. I also drummed with him when he played piano for Old Time Dancing. The best memory I have of Joe was his spine tingling rendition of "O Holy Night " when he would sing solo for us at Christmas masses. I will miss you Joe.

Have fond memoires singing with Joe in shows, choirs etc. Also fun stories of Joes antics in the microlight and bus journeys. A great pianist and good guy. Rest well Joe.

Joe was the plumber who came to work on our house in Waitui and after completing the job, asked if he could play our piano. It is not often a tradesman offers a recital as part of their work. Great memories. RIP Joe.
