Mr Mellow fixed all the Pungarehu vehicles. Plus taught the locals as well Duggan boys and others. Well respected gentleman . Last spoke at Pungarehu School reunion when Darryl broke his leg . Tree lopping holiday . Fall at the New Plymouth home. My condolences to all the whanau. Maria (Nee Jenkins)

Deepest sympathy to the Mellow family. Many happy memories of the days in Pungarehu Garage. Joe certainly gave me a good grounding in mechanics. RIP Joe.
