I extend my Sympathy to you all. My Memory of Joy was way back in day when Police wives would meet in NP once a month. We had the pleasure of going to see Joys garden she developed which was on a slope with a wandering path to the bottom. It was amazing. A great credit to her.

Our thoughts are with the whole family at this sad time. Joy was always thoughtful toward Mangorei School and we have many fun filled memories using the wonderful farm for our school cross country over the years. Thousands of kids got to enjoy the amazing setting down by the Waiwhakaiho. Joy was at ease on the gator transporting our gear and less mobile parents, grand parents (and staff) up and down the hill.
We will always remember her generosity and her love of gardening.
