Thelma PARANIHI Obituary

Our beautiful kōkā, Thelma Paranihi (née Tautuhi), passed away peacefully on 8 July 2025, surrounded by her loving whānau at Hutt Hospital. Beloved wife of Reg and treasured mum of Kimiora, Jacinta & Niki, and Eruini. Cherished nanny to Maioha, Terehuia, Teānia, Kurapounamu & Whatukura. Daughter of Te Whānau a Pani & Ngawhira Tautuhi-Manuel (née Kirikiri). Sister to her many brothers and sisters. Aunty to all her nephews, nieces, and mokopuna, and dearly loved by the Paranihi whānau of Tokorangi. Thelma will be lying in state at Kōkiri Marae, 7–9 Barnes Street, Seaview, until her final service on Saturday, 12 July 2025 at 11.00am. Her whānau warmly welcome you to join them to celebrate her life during this time.
