Passed away peacefully at Mission Rest Home, on Tuesday, 18th July 2017, aged 89 years. In lieu of flowers, donations to Caritas Aotearoa NZ would be greatly appreciated and may be left in the church foyer. Requiem Mass for Valerie will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Nelson Street, Waitara, on Tuesday, 25th July 2017, at 11.00am, followed by interment at Waitara Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be recited at Mission Rest Home on Monday, 24th July 2017, at 7.00pm.
