I was most saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Julie.The Abbott family was a family friend and I knew Julie from year dot .As a St Mary´s old girl she was responsible for introducing me to my late wife Prue.I will remember the good times we shared together.All my sympathies and I just wanted to pass on my concerns at this sad time

Julie aka 'Mrs Cleaver', was an amazing principal, teacher, family friend and member of the Matapu community. It was an honour being taught by Mrs Cleaver, and I have very fond memories of her. You will be truly missed xx

We're all absolutely stunned, to have this happen to one of the nicest person I have ever met.
I've had the great pleasure of knowing Julie firstly through a working relationship at the Matapu School and then whilst playing golf at her beloved Te Ngutu Golf Club which goes back 30yrs.
She was such a devoted person, whether it was Ross, her kids, grandchildren or even the golf club - she gave her all.
She's going to leave a giant hole in a lot of peoples lives, I know personally that I'll miss our little chats about golf and everything else.
