Glen Jones Sr. Obituary

   Mr. Glen Allen Jones, Sr., age 74 of Chrisman Rd, Blairsville, GA, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 12, 2025, in the Northeast Ga Medical Center following an extended illness.  Mr. Jones was born on September 24, 1951, in Newark, OH, the son of the late Benny Tredway and the late Dorothy Jones.  He was a loving father, brother, and uncle.  Glen enjoyed being outdoors doing yardwork, working on cars, country music and playing with his four fur babies. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Chuck Tredway.

   Surviving Mr. Jones are two daughters; Carolee Duffy of Short Creek, West VA, Amanda Jones of Ohio, one son, Glen Jones of Ohio, one sister and brother in law; Brandy and Gregory Zeger of Blairsville, GA, nieces and nephews; Jessica and Nathaniel Chandler of Blairsville, GA,  Wendy and Chris Hayes of Bradenton, FL, Mary Tredway of Blairsville, GA, Candy Merritt of Blairsville, GA, great nieces and nephews; Liam Chandler, Owen Chandler, Noelle Hayes, many other relatives and friends also survive.

   A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Union County Humane Society Mtn Shelter, or Safe Pet in Mr. Jones’ memory.
