MALCOM, Karen Anne:
On Saturday, September 30, 2017, peacefully, at Wellington Hospital, aged 66. Loving mother of Patricia, Nana to Apera and Logan, great-nana to Afu-junior. Dearly loved daughter of Patricia and the late Edward Malcolm, much loved sister to Royce, Maureen and the late Tama Tamou, Selwyn (dec) and Queenie, Gary and Marlene, Robyn and the late Rohan Marino, Suzie and John Kahupukoro, Tania and Thomas Kira. Dearly loved aunty of all her nieces and nephews. A service for Karen will be held in Cornwall Manor, corner of Knights Road and Cornwall Street, Lower Hutt, on Thursday, October 5, 2017, at 2.00pm. As per Karen's wishes a private cremation will be held.

Aged 66. Peacefully at Wellington Hospital on September 30, 2017. Devoted and beloved Tuahine of Joyce and Boyce Luke. Awesome whaene of Ngapeita and Ray Maraki (Normanby), Harvey (Melbourne), Komene and Shar (Otahuhu), Melanie and Al (Hawera), Cushla and John Close (Manaia), Helene and Beven Johnston (Sydney), Corryn-Koro and Eugenia (Hawera). Great-Aunt of Edward Malcolm Te Rangipokau and Cassandra Luke, Great-Gran of Tahlia Graeme-Anderson. Loving Nan to all your Luke whanau mokopuna and mokomoko nui tonui ‘‘kei te pouri ahau me taku manawa’’. Although my heart grieves for my little sister, I accept that our Lord and Saviour saw her pain and claimed her for himself to be a putiputi within his beautiful garden. ‘‘Ka ruia ata nga kakano’’. The seeds are sown. Ake ake tonu amene.
