Karen MORINE Obituary

Karen went to be with her Lord and Saviour peacefully on Sunday 3rd August 2025, aged 66. Reunited at last with her cherished late husband Al. Precious Mumma of Nic and Becca. Caring mother-in-law of William and Fraser. Adored Nana of Billy, Camellia, and Rosalie. Beloved sister, sister-in-law, aunty, and dear friend to many. Passionate teacher for more than 35 years. In accordance with K's wishes a private interment will be held. Our heartfelt thanks to Mum's medical team - the lovely staff at Summerset Vogeltown, Hospice, and to K's doctors Carey Martin, Kay Abraham, and Richard Isaacs. Karen was an inspiring teacher to me, so long ago she was "Miss Jameson" in her first year as HOD Economics at NP Girls High. She left a huge imprint on this world, and I was delighted to reconnect with her many years later when my own child attended NPGHS. RIP Karen, your legacy is and will remain strong xxx

I am so very sorry to hear of Karen's passing. Karen was my form teacher when I was a student at NPGHS and then became a lovely colleague when I returned as a teacher myself. Always so warm, positive and full of fun. Sending my aroha to the family.

Karen has left an amazing legacy of goodwill that will be appreciated by many and never forgotten. Her kindness to anyone where she saw the need was extended and done with such love .
