We are so saddened to hear of Kathleen´s passing.
I was so blessed as a new Mum by Kathleen reaching out to me when i had my twins girls, she told me about the Lepperton play centre. Such a wonderful kind lady. We loved living in your home in Lepperton.
Tim we send you all of our love & will keep you in our prayers.

Kathleen you would have been so proud of Tim and your Children at the Celebration of your life. You left an amazing set of values with them and it is those I will remember you for too. Goodbye my friend.

I met you Kathleen through the wonderful sport of dragon boating. There was and always will be great banter and a real sense of sisterhood between our two teams. On the water, TD and WTC were always fighting it out not to be last. But that never dampened our friendships off the water. Kathleen, your passion for the sport, for your teams success and others, your openness and want for others to succeed, your stance on the back of the boat (your happy place) or paddling alongside others, your beaming smile and welcome you gave us all to Waitara when we travelled down and paddled with you, are some of the memories I will treasure always.

Dear Tim. This afternoon Heather and I "attended" your wonderful tribute for Kathleen. We were both really moved by your own contribution. What an amazing turn out and expression of support and tribute for you all. We thought the celebrant was very good and enjoyed the service throughout. A very special lady who inspired a generation of women to improve wellbeing & outcomes for tamariki. Her gentle, calm and supportive mentoring will continue through the lives of the many she touched through Playcentre and Space in Taranaki.

To all of Kathleen's family and friends, thinking of you all at such a hard time. I meet Kathleen in 2016 when I studied at Witt and she was a fantastic teacher she will be missed by everyone. Sending my condolences to all the family.

So very sad to hear of your loss, Tim and family....Kathleen was such an inspirational person to me and so many others...Amazing that she realised her dream of a Taranaki Pink team this year! Taranaki Dragons just wont be the same without her motivating and encouraging all woman.

Incredibly sad to hear of Kathleen's passing, she was the loveliest person who I was privileged to get to know through Lepperton Playcentre, Lepperton community and Bell Block parish. Her passion for early childhood teaching and learning was amazing and valuable to so many parents and young children.

It is with great sadness that I hear of your lose Tim and family.
I will miss your warmth and greeting as we passed each other on the lawn of WBC.
I will miss your generosity as you offered to make me a cup of tea in the club rooms.

I am so sad for you all to lose Kathleen. I worked alongside Kathleen doing PLD and it remains an amazing memory. I gained so much from her laughter, generosity with sharing knowledge and understanding of learning and IT, and her enthusiasm of life in general. A very special lady who will be missed.

Kathleen was so full of life and fun and so proud of her family, such a wonderful lady. Like so many others she has encouraged, supported and taught me through Playcentre. Kathleen has added so much to the lives of tamariki through the Playcentre parents she encouraged and supported, such a wonderful legacy that will have ripples in our communities for many, many years. Tim and Family. I´m so sorry for your loss. I have so many great memories of Kathleen - from boarding school in Whanganui, at Palmerston North while she was at teacher´s college and travelling around Europe in our combi van. I am so pleased I was able to spend time with her just a few months ago. Thinking of you all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad and difficult time. My memories of Kathleen when we were young teenagers living next door was biking to Brixton on a Saturday to play tennis. Picking feijoas and kiwifruit and being young teenagers talking on the phone. To Tim and family our deepest sympathy. RIP Kathleen.

Tim and whanau we are sad to hear about the passing of Kathleen.
Kathleen came into our lives when we started playcentre back in 1997 with our children Luke and Hayley then throughout our children´s schooling at Lepperton School. Kathleen was a wonderful friend and mentor throughout my time training as an ece teacher and as a visiting lecturer. I loved catching up with her and sharing stories of our children and grandchildren.

Kathleen and I spent many happy years working closely together within the NZ Playcentre movement. Local, provincial and national levels. A fun and committed advocate for the young family. A huge loss which will be felt by many.

Condolences to Kathleen's family at this time of sadness, such a huge loss. I was fortunate to work with Kathleen around a number of different Playcentres throughout South Taranaki over a number of years. She was wonderful at delivering PLD and I learn't so much from her. She was very passionate about Playcentre. She often talked about her family and was obviously very proud of you all. I feel very lucky to have met Kathleen and have nothing but respect for her. A beautiful lady with a lovely smile.

Dear Uncle Tim, Ana, Paul and Louise and family, we were so shocked and saddened to hear of Aunty Kathleen's passing. The kids and I briefly caught up with her at Hamilton Lake when she was visiting for her dragon boating earlier this year. It was so nice to see her welcoming smile and have a chat. I will cherish my childhood memories of staying in Lepperton. Aunty Kathleen was a wonderful lady who was so proud of her family. She will be dearly missed. Sending you lots of love and hugs. Much-loved and admired auntie of all her nieces and nephews.
