Kate - our recent reconnection after many adventures together was so awesome. We were so proud of how far we had come. We connected early as we were both 'imports' to Taranaki, you from Christchurch me from South Auckland. Our trip to Lake Dive. Sneaking each other into gigs hee hee. I loved how we were both so proud of how far we had come in the 30 odd years we had known each other. I was so shocked to hear of your passing. So is Heather xx first meeting you round near Lucy's Gully before you moved to Ohawe. Oh the stories ;)
You came so far girl and I reconnected when you were a nurse !! Amazing girl. Love to all of Kates workmates at Base. Love to the family and I love ya Kate. xxx

My sincere condolences and love to Kate's family on her sudden passing, which has been a huge shock and loss for you all . Kate was such an amazing nurse, providing care to her patients that always went above and beyond. As a colleague of Kate's for over 20 years I thank her from the bottom of my heart for her unwavering support and friendship. Kate and I shared a special interest -Grandchildren and Kate spoke and shared photos of her grandies with so much love and pride. Kate you will be sadly missed but we all have our own special memories to treasure. Love and blessings to all Kate's family and friends. Rest In Love and Peace Kate x

It was a shock to hear of Kate´s passing.

My deepest, sincerest condolences to all of Kate´s family. She was an incredibly special lady, such a brave and caring nurse, and always talked about her boys and grand babies with so much love. Just know she made thousands of patients days just a little brighter with her big smile and kind words. We will never forget you Kate.

One very special lady was Kate, she will be dearly missed by so many. It was such a privilege to have known this lively woman for many years. Our regular catch ups spent in laughter with her stories. Her passion for travel, never afraid to go it alone, and the love she oozed sharing pics of her grandies. She touched the lives of so many, will always be remembered

Kate - Always real, always honest. Never a dull shift with you, so many memories. Rest in peace.
