I am shocked to hear of your beautiful mums passing - she fought so hard and was always so positive. I'm so sad that I'm away and won't be home until the end of March. God bless.

To lissette and family. Im so sorry for the loss of your beautiful mum. I cant imagine how much pain you and your family are in. Think of the lovely memories about her and all the fun times you had altogether. She will always be remembered and forever in your hearts.

Lisette and Tamsin, your mother made such an impression with her bright, bubbly, enthusiastic and determined manner. She was devoted to you all and her love for her family was obvious at every stage. She was always proud of your achievements and a source of incredible understanding and encouragement whenever it was needed. I was very, very sad to read of her untimely death. Unfortunately I am unable to attend tomorrow but send my love to you all. Your 'so special' mum will be remembered always with great affection.

Awwww - very sad for you Lissette and Tamsin.
I have absolutely loved looking after Kay's styles over the many years and it has been an absolute pleasure to hear of her many stories and trips around. I loved her approach to fashion and can think of many times I've been envious of her shoes and bags and edgy outfits ! I'm glad I have been able to be a part of creating sanity and wellbeing through just one hair cut and colour at a time and seeing your mum leaving more positive and boosted up at the end of each visit. It is a great sadness to you both and the rest of your friends and family. May she be at peace. X Brenda Ardern and the girls at the Salon x

Dear Vaughan, Lisette & Tamsin
Mixed emotions best describe how I feel. A deep sadness for Kay and for you all that she has passed so soon and so young, but also many blessings that, after so many years, Kay is now reunited with her dearly beloved Alistair - your dearly loved Dad. God has called his very faithful servant home- he did not want her to suffer any longer - Kay has earned her Angel wings.

Your beautiful Mum dedicated her life to continuing Vaughan's legacy in raising three wonderful children, successfully running and maintaining the farm for so many years - a challenge that she grabbed with both hands and showed that "this woman" will farm this land to Vaughan's standards, and succeed she certainly did! Kay quietly went about being a very successful woman in what was then a man's world - and she was very proud, in her typical effacing way, of this.

Kay's quiet inner strength, compassion and deep faith I admired, her love of theatre and fun shared by many, and I will miss her dark sense of humour that was sprinkled with a little cheekiness.

Vaughan, Lisette & Tamsin your heartache is shared - your Mum may be gone in body but she will be forever with you in spirit and guidance - call her and she will answer.

Kay - your Loving God has called you home - fly free dear friend - I look forward to your messages. Enjoy your reunion party. Rest in peace dear Kay. Thank you for your friendship.

Much love and Aroha to you Vaughan, Lisette & Tamsin KiaKaha
