To Eilish & All members of the extended Hagenson Family:
I have very fond memories of Keith & his brother Dick.
Indeed I fondly remember their dad too.
These memories date back to the early 50's when the Lagocki Family arrived in Waitaanga as newly settled Polish refugees.Keith stands out one of of the really dedicated pioneers of that era. His contributions & service to such a "back block"community as Waitaanga will be also be heralded by many others.I know that his dedication to the school & its kids as a focal centre of that community was probably the main reason that Waitaanga prospered for so many years. The retention of such "icons" as Jack Mills - Headmaster at the School for nearly half of his working life can be attrbuted to a large extent to the untiring efforts & work that Keith put in behind the scenes.I know all about that. Jack & I were lifelong buddies & reminiced a great deal.
We do wish you & the Family all the best.

To the Hagenson family may I express my deep sympathy at this sad time that has marked the death of Keith Ronald
It is in Sydney now that I am living in retirement aged almost 82.
I have fond memories of the years that I spent at Francis Douglas when I had contact with Leo, Noel and Martin and in the early 90's there was a young Frank.
I recall calling at your home that was situated about half way between Ohura and Mt Messenger.
May I express the hope that the years have been kind to you all.
I express my gratitude to the Taranaki Daily News for making it possible, by using the internet, to see the published Family Notices and have the ability to make contact through the Guest Book'.
May the Good Lord receive the soul of Keith with outstretched arms now that his earthly pilgrimage has finished.
From Him too may you all be given comfort and consolation at this time.
