To the extended Newland family! My first memory of Keith & Joan was when they lived next door. Mum was in the maternity home & no-one could milk her cow Betsy. Simple solution, Keith donned her coat & hat & proceeded to milk. Obviously it was a different touch, one simple smell & Keith went flying off the milking stool! Love to you all. Jeanne (née) Wallis

To The Newland family sincere condolences. I have always had a deep respect for Keith. Keith helped and taught me many things as a Farmers Coop client. One of the most important times was when I left the family farm on first year of marriage and got 50/50 contract on a run down farm at Manaia. During that spring the grass did not regrow and the cows were getting thinner. I asked Keith for advice. We sold 20 cows at Inglewood saleyards to be able to feed the rest. RIP kEITH
