Ken,or KG as I knew him, will be sadly missed. I will always remember in the late 50's Ken arriving on his motorized bicycle on his way home in the early hours of the morning . Mum got out of bed and cooked him breakfast.... he left on day break heading for their farm at Waitui , we were farming on Kaimata Rd. KG always called me Bull, I called him KG Willmott.

Sincere condolences to you all. Ken was my first employer on leaving school. A fair and genuine man. Always a bit of banter going on and Kens stories where a bonus. Huge respect for the man and his legacy. Thoughts are with you all.
