Kyle CRESSWELL Obituary

All my thoughts and love to you Leigh and Brendan, and your whanau. I remember your family vividly back in our Puketapu days. (Must of been the hair aye?) Stay strong, and have heaps of laughs remembering the good times!!!

With deepest sympathy to Cynthia,Brenden, Leigh,James,and Michaela. I was there at Kyles birth,I saw him as an adorable toddler,then grow into a playful mischievious child met up again as a young man friendly,well mannered and polite, he touched my heart and gave me hope with his words of encouragement and his warm hug, Cynthia you did such an awesome job bringing up the kids on your own, they are an absolute credit to you.I saw Kyle as a lovable rogue who reached out to hundreds of people, He was fiercely loyal to his family and loved you all so much,you will always remain in my prayers.

How life can change in a blink of an eye.After our brief catch up the other day, I was so happy to have seen you and the news of your joyous celebrations you were planning for and planning to catch up (you had been in my thoughts most days since then). BUT today I was deeply saddened Cynthia when I heard of Kyles passing. moments before. I can't begin to imagine how a Mother begins to deal with such sorrow of losing their baby. I am sure you and the kids will be well supported by each other and love from friends and family - brings you all closer. I just wish now we could be catching up in happier circumstances.

My deepest sympathy to Cynthia, James and the Cresswell family. Leigh phoned me yesterday to share the news of Kyle's passing and my thoughts and spirit is grieving with you as the service is being conducted as I write. Kyle was my first friend when I was hospitalized at Waikato Hospital. I was feeling terrified about spending a week there when Kyle said a friendly hello as we were brushing our teeth in the unisex shower room. He was likable and had a positive attitude despite wearing a halo from a climbing accident. When the oldies went to bed early in the evening, I enjoyed visiting with Kyle in the lounge and hearing about his family, dog, and dreams. His generous spirit impacted everyone who knew him. Kyle will be remembered for sharing kindness with others. Rest in peace my friend.

I was parked at Pizza Hutt one day and I called him over to clean my windows. He said how are you. I complained that I was tired. Then he said to me "What's something that has made you smile today". I was taken aback. It was such a positive, thoughtful thing to say to someone. I actually felt like crying because I didn't have an answer. But it made me feel good to be asked. Just a little reminder not to judge. It genuinely upsets me to see this. Condolences to his family.

Kyle, you where such a well mannered young man. You always had a smile and an a awesome laugh which I would miss.and you would always stop and have chat to us. We will miss you heaps.and chatter away when you where here.

Kyle, I did not have the pleasure of meeting you but I am a friend of Jamie, Tracey & Kerri. They have commented on what a kind hearted person you were. All the love in my heart goes out to the Creswell family during this time. I have so many great memories from my teenage years with James and Leigh, so when I met Kyle I knew we'd get on just as well. He brightened everybody's day with his positive attitude, would always take the time to stop and chat and cheer you up if you were down. Words can't can't come close to describing the potential he had for this world, we are all blessed to have known him, even if it was for a short while. Kyle was a wonderful man. He always knew how to make people smile when they were down and feel better about all the wrongs in their lives. He helped many people and left his mark on this world. My condolences lay with his family and other friends. He will be missed. xx

So sorry to read of Kyke's passing. That dry sense of humour which helped him with his challenges will be missed.
