We miss you so much dear Larry. Your sense of humour was second to none and our shared love of music made our times together so very special. Share a drink with awesome Les when you catch up. After all, it will be five o´clock x somewhere

I was devastated to here the passing of Larry, a great mate. A very nice funny buggar, always had us in laughter with his one liners. Will be missed.
Had so many fun times at Pukekura tennis club. Life of the party.

The New Plymouth Old Boys' cricket club wish to acknowledge the passing of Larry Stewart, a supporter of the club. Club members remember his regular appearances on the sideline whenever he was out for a walk, always supporting his son Travis and always keen for a chat with whoever was there. Larry was friendly towards everyone. Our condolences to Travis, Larry's wife Kaylene and the family.

Our heartfelt love and thoughts are with you today as you celebrate Larry´s life well lived. We remember the amazing home made Hot Cross Buns shared by many , placing bets on Tridici hoping it would pay well, and of course NP Shipping Days and then Hooker Bros. We hope the memories you share will bring you peace in the days to come.

Fond memories of times with Larry at the Pukekura Park Tennis Club, particularly with Business House and Thursday after work tennis. The Thursday gang played doubles thought the whole year, weather permitting, resulting with play in some marginal conditions including with the Pukekura Doctor (cross wind) present. A master of the slice and spin plus on occasions a top entertaining master of ceremonies Larry was a most colourful and popular club member. Thanks for those times Larry. Condolences to Kaylene and family.

Kaylene and family,
Oh what memories.
NZSCo, New Plymouth where within a few days of each other Larry & I began our lives in the shipping industry. Long games of euchre during the slack season, paddle tennis on the roof, our lunch room Friday night club.
Inter house tennis.
You newlyweds living in our Carrington Street flat while your house was being built. Meantime we moved to Wellington so never lived there.
Weekends back in New Plymouth when Larry let me know Saturday morning wharf work was available.
Our numerous visits back to New Plymouth over the years spending many happy times with you both. How time flies by, in 2016 during our last visit to New Plymouth Larry joined us in a delightful walk along the coastal walkway.
And your visits with us in New Jersey & Hamburg.

Larry was a great supporter of New Plymouth Old Boys' Rugby Club. He loved the game as a player and later as a passionate follower of the clubs fortunes year in and year out, as well as being an active supporter.

The club sends its condolences to the family and friends at this sad time.

Larry was a wonderful Godfather and a man whose humour would light up every room. He always had a new joke or tease and was an important figure for me growing up. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. Condolences to Kaylene and the family.

Kaylene I was devastated to hear that Larry had passed away. Had many enjoyable years working with Larry & yourself at Hookers Shipping. I remember the quiz nights, long Friday lunches & the Melbourne Cup. It was a great pleasure to have known him and I would like to pass on my family's condolences to yours in this difficult time.

We remember with fondness our many extended-family gatherings over the years and our times together on holiday in Brisbane. Always a pleasure to have a catch-up and a wine with you.
We have lost a valued and much-loved family member who will leave a big hole in our hearts.
