To the Graeme and the Churchill family. My memory goes back to the Kirihau Road where McGregors were Maskelyn neighbours and Laurel and I would babysit younger children. What great memories.

I have many memories of Laurel, playing with her and the Maskelyne cousins at Uncle Neil and Aunty Erices farm and later talking on the streets of Oakura and the sides of rugby fields watching our grandchildren. Dear Churchill family, I am going to miss seeing Laurel walking past my house just about every day, I always knew where she was going, to her daughter´s of course! Laurel and I spent lots of time on the side line on the rugby field, chatting away watching her grandsons and granddaughters playing rugby and touch rugby along with my boys. We are going to miss her so much!
