Lesley ROBERTS Obituary
We are heartbroken to announce that our dear Mum passed away early today (11th September 2019). She was surrounded by the love of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and dear friends. At peace after many years of living with Parkinson's Disease, much loved mother and mother-in-law of Sarah and David; Rachel and Rick; Steve and Fiona. Loved by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loved by her family in England; Douglas, Linda and children, Margaret and Tim Perry (both deceased) and their families. Dear friend of David and Nancy Roberts. All messages to the Roberts family can be sent to C/- PO Box 218, Stratford 4352 or heavenaddress.com. In preference to flowers, a donation to the Neurological Foundation would be appreciated and may be left at the service. A Service for Lesley will be held at The T.E.T. Multi Sports Stadium, Portia Street, Stratford, on Saturday, 14th September 2019 at 2.30pm, followed by a private cremation.

Mrs Roberts was feared and funny both at the same time. She was the most outstanding character and brings back fond memories from my time at SHS. So sorry for your loss, may she rest in peace.

Sorry to hear the sad passing of Mrs Roberts, she was one in a million, she was always a very fair lady. I remember Mrs Roberts as an ex student at SHS.

It is with immense sadness that we mourn the loss of a most treasured former staff member and loyal friend to Stratford High School. Lesley moved from England to take a teaching position in the sciences eventually being appointed Deputy Principal in 1984. Her enthusiasm and keenness for technology saw her take on a role as the Network Administrator for our school after retirement from her teaching career. She was loved and greatly admired by students and staff who had the privilege of working with her. Her lively wit and creativity were missed when she retired from school life. Students, staff and the Board of Trustees extend their thoughts and sympathy to the family at this saddest of times.
