To the Forsyth family, we have known Les a lot of years and thoroughly enjoyed his company and banter. A kind, gentle man who cared.

To Lorraine and extended family,we were very sorry to learn of Les's rapid decline and subsequent passing.With much sympathy at this sad and difficult time.Sharon and Graham Johnson.

To all the Forsyth family, our deepest condolences.
Les was such a wonderful caring and kind man who loved to have a chat and catch up. Our family have wonderful memories of visiting the family farm on Nopera Road when Les´s parents were farming there and Les would have only been a kid. Les was a regular visitor to our dad (George Barlow) especially when we lost our mum. You are one of a kind Les may you rest in peace and sending our love to all your family.

To Lorraine & the whanau...so sad to read of Les passing. We spent many hours talking and playing and coaching rugby. Many fond memories of a great man.

So very sad to hear about Les. John and I appreciated all of his knowledge, support and help when we owned Ashbrook at Urenui. There was always a very robust discussion on most things and always a laugh over a coffee. He was always a very kind man, who became family to us. My deepest condolences to Les´s family. I have special memories from when Les coached the Stratford Senior 3rds in the 70´s. He was a great guy.

Les was a much respected member of the FBT team, he was a diligent promotor of our company, and represented the business in a very pleasant manner. Les will be fondly remembered by all of us at FBT.

To Lorraine and family. Maureen and I send you our heartfelt sympathy. We have lost a very special friend who was always kind, helpful and very much a good guy. It is just a couple of months short of 50 years since Les and I first worked together at Rural Air Services and he was always, without exception a great workmate. We will miss his friendship.

A very kind man who enjoyed Family,Friends and People.
Les could talk for hours leaving me Speechless at times.
A decent cup of Tea and a piece of Fruit cake went down well with Les.
He was often found lacking the cream off the wish and finishing off the Custard.
Les was often found by the Sink doing the dishes, this was his Domaine. Nearby hung a Tea Towel dated 1968.
Why buy and waste money , use up what you have ,was what he said.
Les enjoyed Gardening and was often found with Hedge Clippers in his hand.
