Les was like an uncle to many of us younger generation growing up during the good old days at Hookers.
On a personal level, I will be forever grateful to Les for giving me a start in transport and the endless opportunities to further my skills in the industry . I would not be the operator I am today without him.
Les kicked my butt often, but he also saved it on occasion too.
Some well known Les quotes that come to mind are "I´m after blood" and "leave it with me, I´m onto it"
My thoughts are with Les´ family, friends and colleagues.
Rest in peace my mate

Ange,Blair and family I was very sad to hear of Les passing away. From the days of Heydon Priest to all the time he spent at Hookers he was always a mentor, and taught me the ins and outs of the transport industry.
He was definitely one of life's good buggers. RIP Les
