Suddenly on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at home at 194 Kokiri Road, Manaia. Loving son of Charlotte and Kawana Morehu. Loving brother of Lucille and the late Barney Horo (Melb), Kawana Morehu, Pam Wharepapa and the late Jacob (Kaponga), Sylvia (dec), Neville Morehu and Kerryn & Eileen (Melb), Nora Wilson and the late George (Perth), Fay Hohaia and the late Dennis (Manaia), Marshall Morehu (late), Maureen Searancke and the late John (Melb), Clarence and Belinda Morehu, Trevor and Belinda Morehu (Melb), the late Martha Moutere (Melb), Pop and Alison Morehu (Melb), and Mua and Leanne Morehu (Melb). Lionel's service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 1.00pm, at Te Aroha o Titokowaru Marae, Inaha Road, Manaia. Enquiries to Fay Hohaia - 0211625276.

The "Koro" as he was known to us. A very loving and stubborn Uncle who was always up for a good argument.
Especially when we talked about the All Blacks, it´s an argument you would never win.
