Our darling husband, dad and great-grandad has played his last beautiful notes. Passed away peacefully. Will be greatly missed by his beloved wife and soulmate Joan, married for 68 years. It was love at first sight for them both. Dearly missed by children Murray, Linda, Ena Maree and Keith, Richard and Emma, and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved him dearly. A celebration of Lloyd's life will be held at 11.30am on Friday 25 June at Whitakers Musical Museum, Artworks Complex, Oneroa (around the back).

Will always remember Lloyd as my piano teacher in the early 1960's, and the many years later playing the most wonderful rendition of Phantom of the Opera on my grandmother's upright piano (and declaring it to have a wonderful tone) while selling Rawleighs.
