2.10.1974 – 3.10.2025

Dearly loved daughter of Lorna and the late Rangiira Wi Katene. Special sister of Laurina (dec) and Len, Paku and Tuhitia, Raymond and Jeannette, Jacko and Jeanette (dec), Brownie (dec), Solomon (dec) and Lorraine, Zina, George, Manu (dec), John and Georgina, Nanci-Lee and Karl (dec). Very special "mum", and aunty, cousin, nanny and friend to many. Her tangi will be at Wai okura Marae, Winks Road, Manaia, on Wednesday 8th October 2025 at 11.00am, followed by a burial at Te Aria Urupa, on Inaha Road, Manaia.

I am so sad and sorry to see that Lola has passed away. I loved being her school bus driver back in the High School days and always appreciated the great welcome that she gave me whenever we met again. Thinking of all of Lola´s family.
