Lynette Bass Obituary

Bass - Lynette Ann, passed peacefully in her home on Monday, December 1, 2025.

Lynette was a well-loved seamstress at Simplicity pattern for 25 years. She also worked as a family worker with NYC Board of Education and retired after 15 years. Lynette was a faithful member of St. Mary Magdalene Church in Queens, NY, for 40 years. She is survived by her two daughters, Charlene Browne-Butler (Paul) and

Arlene "Lena" Browne; grandchildren Jadell Browne,

Chelsea, Kierrah, Saniyah and Mehki Butler; siblings Beulah

East, Brenda McAlpin, and Georgina Williams (Raymond)

and her uncle Berkley

Williamson (Judy). A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Leon Williamson and sister-in-law Joann. Calling hours will be Monday, December 8, 2025, 11 am - 12 noon, with funeral service following at Pentecost Evangelical Missionary Baptist Church, 1650 S. State St., Syracuse, NY 13205. Burial, Calverton National Cemetery, Thursday at 1:30 pm.
