Condolence for Lyn Smith
I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my dear friend Lyn Smith. I first met Lyn when she lived in Dunedin and began fellowshipping at the Apostolic Church. During that season, our friendship grew close, and Lyn joined my family for Christmas on more than one occasion.
In time, both Lyn and I found ourselves navigating the challenges of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Though distance and illness made staying in touch difficult, Lyn reached out to me a few years ago and our friendship was renewed. Through her, I was introduced to a programme that brought me healing and freedom from CFS - a gift I will always be grateful for. Lyn also began to experience improvement before she was sadly diagnosed with cancer.
I was very sad to hear about her passing, but I celebrate the wonderful times of fellowship, prayer, and mutual support we shared. Now she is free.
With love and sympathy,
