An amazing lady. Raising a disabled child, campaigning for and succeeding in making the wearing of cycle helmets compulsory. Preventing serious injury and deaths of thousands of cyclists and saving the health system millions.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs Oaten passing
I looked after Aaron when he was 4 at a daycare and Mrs Oaten was so lovely. We became good friends. Condolences to the family. Jenny Gould

Rebecca was such a special lady. Her passion and dedication to promoting the wearing of cycle helmets was amazing and helped create the law to wear helmets . I worked in Road Safety and Rebecca came to my local schools . She was so pro active and tireless in her work and we became friends . Such a kind and loving woman who was devoted to her family. RIP xxx
