Margaret (nee Fairey):

In the late hours of 10 August 2022, precious Margaret peacefully slipped into the safe hands of her God. Margaret was the eldest daughter of Roy and Molly Fairey (both deceased). The devoted wife of Owen (deceased) for 72 years. She has been the treasured sister of John, Richard, and Helen (deceased). The guiding light, teacher, eternal rock, best hugger and exemplar mother, granny and great-granny to Susan and John, Richard and Jenny, Barbara, Michael, Peter and Lisa, Nicky, Emily and Edward, Phoebe and Hamish, Myles, Sophia and Natalie, Madeleine and Patrick, William and Nicole, Liv and Ollie, Becky and Tom, Piper and Freddie, Arabella, Saskia and Holly, and Hugo and Chester. A loving, loyal, gracious, generous, and special friend to very many. To the angels and saints of St Andrews Village, Susan, Richard, Barbara, and Peter express their heartfelt gratitude for your boundless care of our parents. A service to celebrate Margaret is to be held at 11.00am on Friday, 26 August 2022 at Kohimarama Presbyterian Church, 34 Kohimarama Road, Auckland.
