I am the mother of Mieke and have years of wonderful memories of sitting in Kaye and David's lounge while Kaye tried to teach our daughter to play the piano. Her patience, grace and encouragement were an inspiration to me. My love and thoughts go to Kaye's family at this time.

I am 39 and Kaye was my piano teacher about 29 or so years ago. I remember her well and I have to this day thought of her often. 10 years ago we exchanged several emails and she updated me on her life, it was so lovely to be in touch with her. I´m incredibly sad to see that she has passed away. I´m so sorry and my love to her family who she adored.

Thinking of you and your families, Tony, Martin and Claire. We had many happy times with Kaye and David, tramping and having dinner parties, it seems such a long time ago now. A great memory is climbing Ruapehu on a beautiful day followed by the Tongariro crossing the next day where we nearly froze and had to turn back. Kaye was a great teacher and a lovely piano player. Memories are forever.
