Margaret FAIREY Obituary

Born 14 August 1934. Passed away peacefully on 1st August 2023. Dearly loved wife of Richard for 68 years, and beloved mother and mother-in-law to Robyn and AK, Mark and Mike, David and Francoise, Jane and Murray and John. Sister and sister-in-law to Peter (Deceased), and Margaret, John and Lyndsay, Greg and Jocelyn, Margaret and Owen Cleave (both deceased), and John Fairey and his wife Shirlie (Deceased). Cherished grandmother to Joshua, Emma, Georgina, Lucy, Clare, Sarah and Meghan, and great-grandmother to Taika, Jimmy, Marcel, Ruby Otis, Henry and Roemy. Special thanks to the staff at Auckland's Edmund Hillary hospital for their wonderful care of Wendy. On Monday 6 August, an intimate service and cremation was held at Purewa Cemetery, Meadowbank, Auckland. A special lady to all and a life well lived. May she rest in eternal peace. It is with great sadness that I send this message to you Richard, John!, & the rest of the family. It was a shock Just now when I read Wendy´s Death notice! Wendy has been a very dear friend for many years though we had not been in touch recently because of the distance between us? Me being in Australia? So I send my loving Sympathy to you Richard as well as your family. She was a Beautiful lady, always the same lovely friend no matter how long between us seeing each other? We always took on where we had left off??
So I can only offer my sincere & Loving Sympathy to you all at this very sad time.
I am with you all in spirit as I grieve with & for you all?
